Practice Policies

Computerisation

The practice holds computerised health records and is registered under the Data Protection Act, under which you have statutory rights.

You may be asked to fill in a patient questionnaire in order to complete our records of all patients.

The computer requires good discipline in maintaining accurate records which is to everyone’s advantage and holds the key to many benefits, particularly in preventive medicine

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION - PUBLICATION SCHEME

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the 'classes' of information the practice intends to routinely make available.

This scheme is available from reception.
